About Our Soap

All of our handcrafted artisan soaps are made using the traditional cold process method.

Yes—every true soap is made with sodium hydroxide (lye). During the soap-making process, lye reacts with the oils and butters through a process called saponification, transforming them into soap and naturally produced glycerin. Once saponification is complete and the bars have cured for 4–6 weeks, no lye remains in the finished soap.

Cold process soap is valued for its rich lather, long-lasting bars, and ability to preserve the qualities of nourishing oils and butters, making it a wonderful choice for everyday skincare.

Soap Care

To help your soap last as long as possible, allow it to dry completely between uses. We recommend using one of our soap dishes to help drain excess water and keep your bar firm and long-lasting.
