About Our Cold Process Soap

Our soaps are made using the traditional cold process method with high-quality oils, distilled water, and sodium hydroxide (lye).

Yes, all true soap is made with lye. During the soap-making process, a chemical reaction called saponification transforms the oils and sodium hydroxide into soap and naturally occurring glycerin. Once this process is complete and the bars have cured for 4–6 weeks, no sodium hydroxide remains in the finished soap.

This curing process creates a harder, longer-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather.

Soap Care

To extend the life of your soap, allow it to dry completely between uses. Keeping your bar out of standing water helps prevent sogginess and makes it last even longer. We also offer soap dish trays designed to provide proper drainage.
