Handcrafted Cold Process Soap

Our handcrafted artisan soaps are made in small batches using skin-loving oils and butters, along with sodium hydroxide (lye). Yes—every true soap is made with lye! During the soap-making process, sodium hydroxide reacts with the oils and butters in a process called saponification, creating soap and naturally occurring glycerin.

By the time each bar has finished curing for 4–6 weeks, the sodium hydroxide has been consumed during saponification and is no longer present in the finished soap.
