About Our Artisan Soap

Our handcrafted artisan soaps are made in small batches using rich oils, nourishing butters, local honey, and sodium hydroxide (lye).

Yes, all true soap is made with lye. Lye is an essential part of the soap-making process. During saponification, sodium hydroxide reacts with the oils and fats to create soap. Once saponification is complete, the lye has been chemically transformed and is no longer present as lye in the finished soap.

Because our soaps are made using the traditional cold-process method, each bar is allowed to cure for approximately 4–6 weeks before it is ready for you.

Why Choose Cold-Process Soap?

Cold-process soap allows us to carefully select our oils, butters, and other ingredients while creating each bar by hand. Every batch is handcrafted, hand-poured, and hand-cut, making each bar truly unique.

🧼 Please keep your soap dry between uses. Allowing your bar to drain and dry between uses will help prevent sogginess and extend the life of your soap. Our soap dish trays are available on our website.
