A deodorant detox phase typically lasts anywhere from 1 week up to a month, and during that time period you MAY experience: Increased armpit sweating, Increased body odor, Rash-like bumps in your armpits.I PERSONALLY APPLIED BUTTERS/OILS TO SOOTHE during this transition.
Chemical-laden, traditional deodorants tend to clog pores and make it harder for your body to sweat the way it needs to. Organic deodorant still helps to prevent odor by keeping natural bacteria from mixing with the salt and water on the skin while allowing your body to sweat the way it should!
As your body continues to become accustomed to living without aluminum, its sweat and odor levels will self-regulate and begin to function normally. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND - AGAIN- If you are just switching to natural deodorant, your body may need 1-3 weeks/one month to adjust/detox. It could take a bit longer as the sweat glands in your underarms are going to go through quite the adjustment.
